{"id":824,"date":"2025-08-29T05:53:04","date_gmt":"2025-08-29T05:53:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saldanha.in\/blog\/?p=824"},"modified":"2025-09-27T05:54:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-27T05:54:12","slug":"goa-rera-issues-guidelines-for-builders-to-refrain-from-misleading-ads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saldanha.in\/blog\/goa-rera-issues-guidelines-for-builders-to-refrain-from-misleading-ads\/","title":{"rendered":"Goa RERA issues guidelines for builders to refrain from misleading ads"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Source: Economic Times ( <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/4mA1dve\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/4mA1dve<\/a> )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a set of new guidelines, the Goa Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Rera) has asked builders and realtors to refrain from adding disclaimers while advertising housing or commercial projects in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rera, in a notification, said that a vague mention of the project\u2019s amenities would also be considered misleading. \u201cAmenities as promised in the agreement or brochure should be clearly indicated\u2026 and mention of the mere number of amenities such as 11+ amenities shall be treated as prima facie misleading,\u201d said Rera secretary Paresh Faldesai in the circular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rera circular, which has been issued to the Confederation of Real Estate Developers\u2019 Associations of India (Credai) and the Goa Association of Realtors, has reminded real estate developers that all advertisements for real estate projects must contain the Goa Rera registration number as given in the registration certificate. This registration number must be displayed in the top right of the advertisement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe location of the project as given in the approved plan should be mentioned in the advertisement.
